When Carmelo Anthony briefly left last night's game against the Milwaukee Bucks most fans knew that something was different. Anthony revealed after the game that he has been battling pain in his left knee since the second game of the season when the Knicks overwhelmed the Cleveland Cavaliers.
“It’s been sore since maybe the Cleveland game,’’ Anthony said. “I’ve been trying to go though it and play through it. I try not to think about it. Some days are better than others....I know what’s going on with it.....I’m playing through it. I was doing fine until I banged my knee [Tuesday].’’
