Maggette to retire?

The San Antonio Spurs have decided to waive 14 year veteran Corey Maggette. Maggette recently indicated that if he didn't make the Spurs roster, then he would retire from the NBA.
Sucks for him. Used to see him play all the time growing up in the Chi. I don't think he ever got a chance to show his true skills.
