Smith questions Knicks' Heart

The Knicks have been in a free fall as of late and no one can quite explain why. Injuries to Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire have played the biggest role but guard J.R. Smith thinks that the problem is far worse than injuries and he stated the following recently.
"We got to check out our heart right now," he said. "We either got to compete or pack up and go home. It's just that simple."
"I don't mind losing," Smith said. "But if we just go out there and get demolished, that's a problem, especially when you're supposed to be considered one of the best teams in your division and your conference. It's just not a good look for us."

Agree the knicks looks all fallen apart nowadays
ReplyDeleteThat game was hard to watch even with Lillard showing out. But JR is showing us how he could co lead (maybe lead) a team. He's still taking mostly good shots with the brightest green light he's ever had in his NBA career. Let's see if he can get his team motivated.

ReplyDeleteI still don't see why this man is coming off the bench. I like James W. but JR's been around longer in the NBA and deserves a bigger role if he doesnt want it or not. In my eyes he shouldnt be a sixth man for a 30 year old rookie.
