Kareem Abdul-Jabbar talks Kevin Durant

NBA great Kareem Abdul-Jabber currently holds the record for the most points scored in NBA history with 38,387. Despite the fact that LeBron James has become the youngest player in NBA history to score 20,000 points, Abdul-Jabbar thinks that Kevin Durant could be the best scorer ever.
“I think he certainly has the talent,” Abdul-Jabbar said. “It all depends on if he stays healthy and is the focus of the offense, because he can score from anywhere on the court...He’s not just in it to put up numbers,” Abdul-Jabbar said. “He wants to win and understands what the game’s about. That always makes me feel better.”

ReplyDeleteIf Lbj got the record a year earlier than Kobe (because he played with shaq) got to it n his career than durant should get to it atleast 2 or 3 years earlier than lbj did n his career. I think k.d.can possibly challenge for the all time leading scorer also if he stays healthy
ReplyDeleteKobe playing with shaq aint got shit to do with it...lebron was a starter in cleveland as soon as he was drafted and kobe came off the bench his first year or two...lebron would broke that record 2 or 3 years ago if he stayed in cleveland and kept averaging around 30 a game but he doesnt care about points...all the shit durant is doing lebron has been there and done that...lbj was dropping 35 to 40 every other night in Cleveland

ReplyDeleteI like lebron as a player than kd anyways, its not always about scoring , he reached 5k assists as well with over 10k boards. Kd doesn't put up close to triple doubs like lebron does. He's just a package player unlike kd, he's usually a straight scorer. Honestly.. if lebron wanted to be a ball hog he should've shattered that record.

ReplyDeleteHonestly I'm a big lebron james fan but I also like kevin durant's game. But to be honest with you guys I believe that kevin durant is in fact a better scorer than lebron. I mean the guy can shoot from anywhere on the court man & however , hand in his face , coming off a screen , pullup jumper , he's just a great scorer. Lebron on the other hand isn't a better scorer than durant is , but he is the best player in the nba. He's not a scorer like kd is but he can score , rebound , block shots , get steals & assists that's something kd can't do. Lebron averages gets a triple double almost every game. That's just my opinion though , kd is the better scorer , but c'mon guys we all know lebron really is the best player in the nba.
