I hate it say it Preach but the Lakers aren't going to bring in another point gaurd. It would be nice but I don't see it happening. They already have 3 point gaurds on the bench, if you count Blake. What they could really use is a proven combo gaurd, such as Barbosa, Lou Williams, George Hill, or even Andre Miller. Any one of those guys would help the Lakers out tremendously but the only way that is going to happen is with a trade, but the Lakers don't really have any good trade bait, other than Ebanks, Jamison, or Hill (none of which will be leaving this year)
U rite they dont wanna spend money but delonte is the combo guard that they desperately need RIGHT NOW. Im sure they can get him for the vets minimun but I know the lakers r holding a roster spot for d fish also. would like to see fish back with lakers but they can get more outa delonte
Good point. I forgot all about West. Fisher would definitely be the safer of the two but West is younger and is much more capable of having a big night in the absence of the stars. But that still leaves them with too many pg's. They aren't short of Pg's they just need better ones. Personally I think they should try and move Blake for a draft pick in return. That would free up cap for West and eliminate another gaurd that just sits on the bench the whole time
This does not help the lakers... hes their floor general , how is hegonna buildd chemby not being on the floor. Im sure he will still be a leader in the locker room and on the bench , but having him in street clothes does your team no good , and in fact from a flowing offence, xause i believed nash was able to say look. Illl get kobe the ball here and next dwight. Thats how itll go , but now without a proven point guard. Their offence changes to the kobe trying to do too much , whos gonna tell kobe he cant have the ball ? Steve blake ? Lol. Get well soon nash.
I agree with you preach.with this stupid bench they have.they they got to have another point guard to facilitate their flow.they are struggling now, and when kobe or dwight would be injured and out?the lakers are sure out.
he makes the most sense at this point. He can back up both guard spots when Nash gets back but delonte's rep might stop any team from pickin him up. The mavs say he was a negative influence on there young players but that shouldnt b a problem n la
They do need a new PG. Steve Blake is a floppin ass bitch. Take it from someone who's favorite team has Paul Pierce. I recognize those bitch flops. lol
I think its all too obvious the Lakers are desperate. They need more depth on the team, plain and simple. Preferably young cats. A fresh rookie. Somebody who's gonna catch the rest of the league off guard. Kobe's a beast. He needs to not only be a player this year, but also a coach. I ain't even gonna mention Steve Blake. Smh
Good. Maybe that will force them to bring n another back up pg

ReplyDeleteI hear AI is looking for a job. At least he can score and that's more that I can say for Fisher.
ReplyDeleteBTW..shame on the lakers for beating up on lowly Detroit like that, they should be ashamed of themselves!
