According to Netease Sports, former NBA guard Allen Iverson is considering playing in the Chinese Basketball Association. Iverson stated the following while visiting China recently:
"I'm not leaning towards any one team and there's no first choice like what the others say.....China is still one of my choices, but the team that wants me to join has got to show me that they really mean it, like 'hey we really need you."

Theres teams in the nba that can use him
ReplyDeleteI don't see why an NBA team doesn't sign him. Give him some cash and a starting point gaurd role and he'll be happy. I'm sure he could still be a productive scorer and many teams in the leaugue today could use a short term scoring option.
ReplyDeleteFuck em. Starbury is over there winning mvps and championships. Go out the best way u possibly can A.I. and get yours!
ReplyDeleteHe isn't a starter anymore and who knows if he can even score anymore. One of the best weapons he had, the crossover, is gone. He hasn't actually been playing for who knows how long, and will take that same amount of time to get back into some kind of shape. And on top of that, he has an attitude problem? It looks like he would be more of a gamble than anything else. Not worth it.
ReplyDeleteA.I was a great player miss him but it is what it is.
ReplyDeletePractice? Practice? Lol.. Dude was a beast on the court. Too bad of what happened to him and his ego.. He can definitely be a starter for an nba team if he had his head on right. I say he signs with bobcats with tmac ohh yeah. 2 former stars in that sorry team. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteThat actually makes sense! AI to the bobcats would be perfect. I still think he has it as well and reports say this time he is willing to come off the bench and do multiple workouts for a team 2 things he refused to do the last couple of yrs. I don't expect him to sign with any team overseas until the nba season has started and he doesn't get a call from one of the. I would love him back in Memphis no matter how he left. Good luck A.I. where ever you play you will always have a fan in me.
DeleteAI is not a starter anymore but can b a good bench player, he can probably get u 8 to 10 a game, but i bet hes getting more money in china so thats why hes interested in playing over there
ReplyDeleteJay-
Id saymore like 15 to 20 a game if given the rite situation. But honestly I dont c a spot on a contending team for him, cause thats where I would like 2 c him. It dont hurt to go to china avg 30, 35 probably, maybe get the experience of winning on any level! And makin more money than the nba's league minimum.
DeleteI'm an AI fan but have y'all seem him play in this century? Who knows wat he can do n I doubt he's still in "NBA" shape with stamina n all...y'all r letting ur love for him cloud reasonable thinking.
ReplyDeleteAI would be a great 6 man. Remember the league changed walking cause they didnt understand his crossover! They gave Michael Vick a second chance and he ran with it. So why not give him a chance and put a condition in his contract... IJS
