The Minnesota Timberwolves worked out NBA veteran Josh Howard yesterday while in Dallas. The T Wolves have also been in contact with free agent Mickael Pietrus about joining the team.

The Indiana Pacers are actively seeking a replacement for forward Danny Granger who will be out for  months due to his ongoing knee issues.  The Pacers have already contracted NBA free agent Mickael Pietrus about joining to the team to soften the blow of Granger's loss.

More moves by Boston

The Boston Celtics have re-signed guard Keyon Dooling who's primary role is to backup Rajon Rondo.  Dooling agreed to return via the veteran's minimum.  Forward Mickael Pietrus may not return to the franchise however due to him wanting more than the veteran minimum and at this time that's all the Celtics have to offer.

Pietrus released from hospital

During last nights game, Celtics guard/forward Michael Pietrus fell awkwardly to the floor and had to be carried out on a stretcher.  Pietrus underwent tests at a local hospital and then was released to spend the night at the team hotel.

Mickael Pietrus ready for return

After undergoing rehab for a sugically repaired knee, Mickael Pietrus is ready to begin the NBA season with the Boston Celtics and should be in the rotation for tomorrow's night game against the Mavericks.
