Stoudemire received epidural

Yesterday Knicks forward/center Amar'e Stoudemire received an epidural steroid injection to subdue the pain of the bulging disk in his lower back.  The success of the injection and Stoudemire's back strengthening exercise will determine if Stoudemire will be available to play in the first round of the playoffs should the Knicks secure a playoff spot.

Kidd's status is unknown for next game

After only playing 12 minutes against San Antonio last evening, Jason Kidd sat out the rest of the game with a lower back injury.  it's unclear how Kidd sustained the injury but his status for the next game is unknown.
