Brandon Knight done for season?
Phoenix Suns G Brandon Knight isn't expected to return for the final games of the NBA season. A left ankle sprain caused a bone bruise on Knight's heel and will cause him to miss the Suns' four game road trip.
"It's a tough situation," Knight said. "If it feels better, we'll see what happens but I'm in no rush to come back and make any worse. You can't just keep pounding on a bruise and have it get better."

Suns address Dragic's "I don't trust them anymore,"
Prior to being traded to the Miami Heat, Goran Dragic made headlines by stating that he didn't trust the Phoenix Suns. Dragic was unhappy with having to share point guard duties with Isaiah Thomas and Eric Bledsoe and saw himself playing the off guard position primarily.
Phoenix Suns President of Basketball Operations Lon Babby responded to Dragic Friday morning.
"We take no issue w/his right to decide where he's going to play when he becomes a free agent & role he wants...What I personally take issue with are the unfair and unwarranted aspersions he cast on our front office and our organization as a whole.
"We won't ever apologize for trying to improve this team."

Suns Acquire Brandon Knight in Three-Team Trade
Official Press Release
The Phoenix Suns today completed a deal to acquire guard Brandon Knight from the Milwaukee Bucks in a three-team trade also involving the Philadelphia 76ers. The Suns also acquired guard Kendall Marshall, who will be waived. As part of the deal, the Suns send guard Tyler Ennis and center Miles Plumlee to the Bucks and the Los Angeles Lakers’ protected 2015 first-round pick to the 76ers; the Bucks also receive guard Michael Carter-Williams from Philadelphia.
The 23-year-old Knight is a fourth-year pro who joins the Suns in the midst of a career year, averaging 17.8 points, a career-high 5.4 assists, career-high 4.3 rebounds and career-high 1.6 steals, while shooting career-highs of 43.5 percent from the field and 40.9 percent from three-point range as he has started all 52 games with the Bucks in 2014-15. Knight departs Milwaukee as the leader in scoring and assists for a team that entered the All-Star break seven games over .500 and with 30 first-half victories after winning 15 total games in 2013-14.
Originally the eighth overall pick of the 2011 NBA Draft by Detroit, Knight played the first two seasons of his career with the Pistons before being acquired by the Bucks along with Khris Middleton and Slava Kravtsov in exchange for Brandon Jennings on July 31, 2013. An All-Rookie First-Team selection in 2011-12, Knight holds career averages of 15.3 points, 4.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.00 steals in 265 games (256 starts) with the Bucks and Pistons.
An athletic 6-3 guard who boasts a nearly 6-7 wingspan, Knight was a collegiate standout in one season at the University of Kentucky in 2010-11. Knight earned All-SEC Second-Team honors after setting Kentucky freshman records in scoring and three-point field goals made. Knight was named the NCAA East Region Most Outstanding Player after helping the Wildcats reach the Final Four for the first time since 1998, ending the longest Final Four drought in the prestigious program’s history.
Philadelphia receives the Lakers’ protected 2015 first-round pick from the Suns in the deal. Phoenix initially acquired the draft pick from the Lakers as part of the sign-and-trade that sent Steve Nash to Los Angeles on July 11, 2012.
Goran Dragic Update
The Phoenix Suns have a desire to trade disgruntled G Goran Dragic to the Houston Rockets, Boston Celtics, or Sacramento Kings based on the assets that they could get in return. Dragic delivered his wish list of destinations (Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks) to the Suns and is adamant that he will not sign an extension with any other franchise who may wish to trade for him.

Celtics interested in Thomas
If the Phoenix Suns decide to trade G Isaiah Thomas the Boston Celtics could be a willing partner. Reports show that the Celtics are interested in Thomas should the Suns decide to dangle him. Thomas is currently averaging 15.2 points and 3.7 assists as well. Should the Suns decide to move Goran Dragic who has recently requested a trade, it would be hard to imagine them moving Thomas as well.

Dragic to leave Suns?....Updated
Reports indicate that Phoenix Suns G Goran Dragic has informed the Phoenix Suns via his agent that he will not sign a contract extension with the franchise this off-season and has a desire to be traded. Plan A was for the Suns to retain Dragic but now the Suns may look to move the guard rather to lose him for nothing via free agency.
Update: The Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, and New York Knicks are Dragic's preferred destinations. The Indiana Pacers are also said to be a possible destination.

Suns desire to re-sign Dragic
Despite various media outlets reporting otherwise the Phoenix Suns are intent on re-signing their star point guard Goran Dragic. The Suns would listen to trade offers only if they'd received a potential all star and first round draft pick in return. The Suns are looking to be active around Thursday's trade deadline due to their abundance of guards and Gerald Green along with Isaiah Thomas could be on the move.
