Knicks to shut down Melo.....Updated

In what has been anticipated for quite some time, the New York Knicks will soon officially announce that F Carmelo Anthony will be shut down for the remainder of the NBA season.  Surgery has been an option for Anthony who has battled knees issues thus far this season.

Update: Carmelo Anthony's season-ending left knee surgery includes a left knee patella tendon debridement and repair.
