Eric Gordon talks return....Updated

He's missed the last six weeks due to tearing the labrum in his left shoulder but New Orleans Pelicans G Eric Gordon will return to practice Sunday. Despite the progress no date has been set for his return to the court; recently Gordon shared his thoughts on his imminent return.
''I'm definitely anxious,'' Gordon said. ''I definitely want to get back on the task of trying to get our team consistent to just winning ballgames. Early on, a lot of people looked at us like we were going to be a team on the run with being a playoff season. Now, we're still in position, but we're still fighting back and forth. We win one and you lose one. Somehow we have to take control of our own destiny.''
Update: Gordon will return tonight when the Pelicans face off against the Washington Wizards.
