Clippers' Griffin being investigated....Updated

Los Angeles Clippers F Blake Griffin is currently being investigated by the Las Vegas Police Department for allegedly slapping a 39 year old man at the Tao Night Club in the Ventian Resort. The victim only known as Daniel stated the following about Griffin:
“slapped me in the right side of my face.”
The NBA has been made aware of the investigation and are currently looking into the matter. Recently Doc Rivers stated the following:
“I can't say much, but I feel very confident things will work out,” Rivers said. “I'll put it that way.”
Update: Blake Griffin has been charged with misdemeanor battery after an Oct. 19 incident in Las Vegas, according to records obtained from the Clark County (Nev.) District Attorney's office.
