Wilbekin signs in Australia

G Scottie Wilbekin spent the off season playing for the Summer League teams of the Memphis Grizzlies and Philadelphia 76ers despite being un-drafted.  The former Florida Gator will sign with the Cairns Taipans of the Australian National Basketball League.  If an NBA opportunity were to arise, Wilbekin has an out clause in his contract that would allow him to leave for the NBA in January.
