Gooden not allowed to represent Finland

Washington Wizards F Drew Gooden was all but set to play on the Finnish National Team during the FIBA World Cup of Basketball but due to a technicality Gooden won't be available.  Based on his mother being from Gooden, he's a citizen of the country but his dual citizenship application was not processed in the time frame needed for him to be allowed to join the roster.
