Chalmers to switch position?

Miami Heat point guard Marion Chalmers once called himself one of the top point guards in the NBA.  With the addition of Shabazz Napier, the Heat currently has 3 guards on the roster with Norris Cole coming off of the bench.  The idea of Chalmers playing the off guard position at times has been talked about within the organization.  

“We’re looking at Mario differently in this roster. He’s a point guard, but we’re also looking at him as a [shooting guard]. Mario can be very effective as a long-armed [shooting guard] who can shoot the three......We see upside, athleticism, three-point shooting,” Pat Riley said. “He can stuff up the stat sheet. He’s a very athletic, high-motor player. He has improved greatly. [But] he needs a lot of work. He’s still really raw.”
