Lakers not to pursue Fisher

Despite playing the majority of his career with the franchise, the Los Angeles Lakers have decided not to pursue Derek Fisher in their on-going head coaching search.  Fisher recently stated that coaching is definitely in his future and he is reportedly the number one target for Phil Jackson's New York Knicks at this time.  The Lakers have decided to pass on Fisher citing a desire to have a coach with experience to steer the franchise in the right direction.
