With Carmelo Anthony potentially become a free agent during the upcoming off season, rumors have swirled about his future landing spot. The Chicago Bulls have been mentioned season long as one of the landing spots and fuel was added to the fire yesterday when it was reported that Bulls center Joakim Noah has begun recruiting Anthony. New York Knicks head coach Mike Woodson spoke recently about his desire to see Anthony finish his career wearing a Knicks jersey.
“I’m not going to get into all of that. You know legally nobody can recruit anyone. You can’t do that at this point,” Woodson said. “Melo is still wearing a Knicks uniform, and I hope he stays with the Knicks for the rest of his career. I’ve always said that. So whatever was said between Noah and the Chicago Bulls, that’s on them.”
