Westbrook talks Rose

The two have been off-season workout partners for years and their aggressive playing styles are similar.  Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook will always be linked due to the passion that they both play with but lately they've been linked via a multitude of knee problems over the last couple of NBA seasons.  With their respective franchises facing each other last evening, Westbrook took a moment to talk about his close friend.  

"He's a tough guy," said Westbrook. "It's unfortunate he had to be hurt and out another year. But he's going to come back the same D-Rose he was before."
