Extension unlikely for Gay

The Sacramento Kings and F Rudy Gay have not spoken of a long term contract extension.  Gay has a $19.3 million player option for next season but he could opt out and seek up to a five year deal.  If Gay accepts the option he can negotiate a 3 year extension with the Kings or just simply walk away as an un-restricted free agent during the summer of 2015.
