Pistons' Smith talks benching

For the second time this season Detroit Pistons F Josh Smith has been benched, with the latest benching occurring Saturday even during their contest against the Washington Wizards. Smith was benched for the duration of the second half after struggling in the 1st.
“It’s an honor for me to play, you know what I’m saying? So when anybody challenges — or anything about the fact that, you know, about me not wanting to play — then I take real offense to it,” Smith said.
