Knicks hold players only meeting

After losing to the Charlotte Bobcats and also seeing C Tyson Chandler go down with a serious injury, the players of the New York Knicks decided to have a players only meeting. The Knicks are seen by some as contenders but they haven't played as such during the first week of the NBA season. It's no secret that the organization is under pressure from owner James Dolan to win an NBA title this season and recently head coach Mike Woodson indicated that he doesn't feel as if his job is in jeopardy nor is he looking over his shoulder despite the Knicks shaky start. Carmelo Anthony recently spoke of the early season meeting.
Anthony: "It is early, but there are things we need to fix & we need to fix now."

The Knicks didn't get better or healthier in the offseason so a 5th seed is their ceiling. Unless the HEAT, Pacers, Nets and Bulls have injury problems. Melo better learn from LeBron or end up with no ring.

Until they get rid of amares contract they r stuck. Didn't understand their moves this summer. U let ur 2 best shooters go n pick up another big man who don't play d or rebound.
