Chicago Bulls G Derrick Rose has worn tape on the back of his neck due to experiencing neck soreness for a little over a week but today the NBA has informed Rose that he can no longer wear the tape.
Update: The NBA has reversed its decision and now will allow Derrick Rose to wear tape on his neck.
"After a discussion today with Jerry Stackhouse, representing the union, we have decided to allow Kinesio tape on an experimental basis so that we can take a fresh look at the possible benefits it might bring to our players," NBA spokesman Tim Frank said in a statement on Wednesday.
Why the fuck are they making him stop?? the tape may or may not be helping his neck but dont players have a right to protect themselves?

ReplyDeleteIn 2 years the NBA will have there own sports tape with their logo all over it and they'll allow players to wear it then.
