Rose talks adding range to his shot

The moment Derrick Rose tore his ACL many wondering if he would maintain his aggressive playing style upon his return. Rose was recently asked he if would change his playing style and he responded with the following:

“No,” Rose answered. “I think the only thing that’s gonna change is my confidence level….
“As far as shooting, I think that’s the only thing I need to work on,” he said. “The only thing I’ve been working on is shooting longer shots, because I think if people have to come out and stick with me a little bit further, it opens up the court a little bit more, and give me enough room to create and get my guys open....I think I want to be more efficient when I go out there and play.....I want to be able to control the whole game, with me being the point guard and having the ball for majority of the game.”
That's exactly how he has to play but when he get out on the court and nobody can stay n front of him it might b hard for him to resist. My opinion bulls r a much better team offensively (playoff time) without rose because the ball moves more and everybody gets involved. If he can play pure pg and still get his 20 to 25 by hitting shots from all over floor he's gonna stay healthy and the bulls will b a better team come playoff time
ReplyDeleteI agree I just think that there offense is similar to knicks offense when melo touches it there's no ball movement but points! But there's better ball movement when hes off the court! Similar to d rose!

He's got more talent around him on the perimeter now...not the same team he had before he got hurt so he don't have to do as much. DeleteAgainst certain teams like Miami...it is! Who does the east run threw? Mia a great defensive team.The ball has to move against great defensive teams. To many times I've seen him force shit down the lane which led to him getting hurt. If d rose don't use his teammates more against mia or Indy They will lose. His teammates have proving themselves without him. He don't have to carry that team anymore, he just has to fit n.
