Despite the fact that they have acquired G Brandon Jennings, the Detroit Pistons are still very much interested in trading for Rajon Rondo. The Pistons could actually use Jennings to lure Boston in a possible trade near the deadline.
If were Detroit I would keep jennings They need a pg that can shoot the 3 to stretch the defense out and as Great as Rondo is he cant shot free throws let alone 3's . Rondo sounds good but a bad fit for their personel and would be stupid to touch that Wallace contract.
Wallace is a solid player why not end this 2013-2014 year with the pistons and they can amnesty him when the year is done. Now the best trade would be rondo and Wallace for jennings and charlie Villanueva who's contract expires in right after the playoffs. Jennings would be locked in for a year and its up to him to spend the year after that as a Celtic. Rondo if healthy would make Detroit a championship contender they would have a solid staring 5 Rondo, stuckey, Gerald wallace, josh smith, greg monroe. also if celtics get there 2014 first round pick the celtics are looking at 2nd pick for their own pick and a 20th pick from pistons which they can use for either jarabi Parker or andrew wiggins and maybe get marcus smart with the 20th pick. But celtics will be a playoff team by 2015
Detroit already used their amnesty clause on RIP Hamilton so They would have to pay Wallace every stupid penny and he aint worth that much money. The Pistons need to esperad the floor and keep developing their 2 very young talented big Men and when Mia, Indiana, and Bklyn break up in the next 3 or 4yrs Detroit will be the best in the east. They just need shooters now
Give us Jennings, 2014 1st Round Pick, and a 2014 2nd round pick for Rondo and Wallace and I'll be happy
ReplyDeleteTrue but to make it fair they piston also have to give villanueva expiring contract
DeleteJennings and drummond for rondo and wallace
ReplyDeleteI accept
they wont trade drummond
ReplyDelete2 first round+vilanueva+jeninngs for rondo and wallace or humphries sounds fair.
