Oklahoma City Thunder C Kendrick Perkins recently spoke about his off-season with included a minor knee surgery and workouts.
“It was just a scope, basically like a vacuum,” Perkins said. “You go in and clean up unnecessary scar tissue that was there. It wasn't nothing serious. I was back on the court within two weeks. I haven't had any problems with it.”
“I've been working, man,” Perkins said. “Been in the gym and basically just working more in the weight room on my explosiveness and touch around the basket, hook shots and stuff like that. I've been shooting a lot of jumpers, making sure I make 300 a night. I'm just trying to prepare.”

if perkins is able to consistently sink a 15 footer then he can definitely help contribute to the thunder offense more
ReplyDeleteNot with his slow ass release. If he hasn't developed a jumper or post moves by now, it's hard to imagine that changing. Especially since he's known for defense only.
DeletePerk had a developing post game b4 k.g. came to Boston then it became all about wat he does on defense. He's got good feet just gotta improve that touch on his shot. Don't matter how slow his release is as long as he's wide open....look at Noah's release. Its all about making the defense respect his offensive game if he wanna keep from becoming a backup or worst
DeleteNoah's always open for the same reason Perk's always open. No defense will respect either of their jumpers while Durant and Westbrook or Rose are on the court.
DeleteGotta make the defense pay. I think Noah does a decent job of that , that's where perk is trying to get to
DeleteHey look. Everybody is playing nice and talking real ball. I dig it.
Delete-M
I think i can play C better than perk
ReplyDeleteAt least perkins has a ring
ReplyDeletePlease trade please trade
ReplyDeleteAs an OKC fan i wish they would trade. Still have nightmares of bosh blowin by him in the finals
