Carmelo Anthony talks future

The New York Knicks have had renewed championship faith ever since F Carmelo Anthony joined the franchise but the Knicks have still failed to make a deep playoff run. Anthony recently spoke to youths at the Queens College camp and revealed that time is indeed running out and also addressed rumors that he may seek to leave the Knicks once his current deal is up.
“My window is closing,’’ Anthony told the campers. “I’m trying to bring a championship to New York ASAP.’’
“As far as ruling anything out, I haven’t thought about anything beyond today,’’ Anthony said. “My mind is not thinking about next offseason right now. I’m trying to do what I do this offseason, get right, work out, train and prepare myself for this season. When that time comes, I’ll deal with that. It’s not something I’m thinking about right now.’’

only what he needs is 2nd strong regular scorer with big D ability + pg with skill n iq like Parker Rondo not CP3.He dont need 2 score 30 each game.

ReplyDeleteHis window is closing because lebron is getting better every year while melo has been the same for the past 6 years. His career was screwed when he got drafted same year as lebron. Wade and bosh learned quick and joined him.

Point is Bron is not better than Melo diffrences r refs n roster.Heat r rebuilded since 2k6 n mostly improved their roster n they r also called king of floppers when Knick since just 2 years got stronger n Melo moved 2Knicks a bit late.But NBA simply wants Lebron/Heat in finals u could hear that in TNT studio Kenny n SHAq with Barkley confirmed that during playoffs n were lolling.
ReplyDeleteMelo fucked up when he forced that trade to NY. He should've just waited until the offseason and walked n free agency. If they could've at least kept dino or Wilson chandler and not had to take on billups who I think they wasted there amnesty on...they could've saved that for amare
