Paul George to remain a Pacer?

There was talk recently of the Los Angeles Lakers making a run at rising F Paul George during the season's free agency period. George is from California and admitted recently that he grew up a fan of Kobe Bryant but George has stated that his preference is to remain a member of the Indiana Pacers.
“I’m happy, man. I’m happy in Indiana. It’s overwhelming (to hear) that they would want a player like me to come play for their team. But right now I’m focused on Indiana. I’m happy to be in Indiana. Our future is bright in Indiana. I wouldn’t want to leave something great.”

would love to see this...rather than melo or another big name. george certainly has kobe capabilities just missin that killer attitude. but i could understand him wanting to stay n indy. going to b interested to see if granger willing to fall back this year for george to b the man or if george willing to except that role
ReplyDeleteIts Paul George's team now, he's proved that, thats the reason why he doesnt want to to the lakers because that is kobes team. Granger has no other choice, he has to be a role player now. George was giving lebron a run in the playoffs this past season with no Granger. C'mon home your smarter than that.
Deleteyeah but it wasnt until game 3 or 4 against the heat when george got aggressive and played like it was his team. until then we was passive as fuck. granger aint passive...he gonna shoot that damn ball
DeleteGranger is gone. If not this year then he def ain't coming back after the year and contract is up.larry bird wants to keep them under the cap and getting rid of gtanger gives them so much flex and potential to upgrade thier bench or 2 guard
