Dirk talks free agent targets

On July 1st teams will be able to recruit players to their franchises and Mavericks F Dirk Nowitzki is ready to try to recruit Chris Paul and Dwight Howard. Recently Nowitzki spoke to the media about the Mavericks plan.
“If we don’t get
the two monsters then we got to find another way,” Nowitzki said, “through
sign-and-trades or other free agents that are out there.”
On Howard: “Offensively, I think he looked great the last couple
months of the season,” Nowitzki said. “He started off a little sluggish there
with his back surgery, but at the end he was finishing and was above the rim
again.”
On Paul: “He’s a winner,” Nowitzki said, “a point guard making
plays, making things easier for everyone else.”

ReplyDeleteYea howard is a pick and roll player dirk is a pick anf shoot player they both rebound plus dirk is willing to Let howard be the defensive center piece which they need because mavs are form to be a defensive minded team guys like chris kaman, shawn marion can stay and they can add samuel dalembert or even andray blatche. Jarret jack or nate Robinson would be a good back up for chris paul. I think that in the shooting guard solution they should bring in nick young and shannon brown

Dwight and chris paul want to play together. plus dirk is the main piece why this would happen they have nice defensive pieces like chris kaman and shawn marion and vince carter which is playing the backup 3 but if u bring in 2 nice shooting guards and a back up point guard it will be great.
ReplyDeletePlayers they can go for iggy, nick young, shannon brown and tyreke evans. One guys that they can maybe get is monta ellis but he wants a lot of money but he also wants championships so will see this team can be dangerous. Oh ya david west wants to play with paul again so he could sign with the mavs
