Billups wants to play for Heat?

Los Angeles Clippers G Chauncey Billups will become a free agent on July 1st and at 36 would like to extend his NBA career. After receiving the inaugural NBA's Teammate of the Year Award yesterday, Billups was asked if he'd be interested in joining the Heat next season.
"Of course, I would have interest in Miami, of course," Billups said.
"Of course, I would have interest in Miami, of course," Billups said.
Oh for christs sake miami is not turning into a god damn retirement village...retire billups

ReplyDeleteHe's gonna have to play for damn near free but Miami is his best shot at winning. Wade's never healthy for a full season, Chalmers gets benched in the 4th and Cole would benefit from his experience. He would get wide open 3s especially with Allen or Miller(if in the rotation) opposite of him. He might not stay healthy but that's where his coaching would help. Hell he could help Spo coach. Sounds like a fit but get ready to feel the heat of hate.
