Del Negro frustrated, talks DeAndre Jordan

Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro's job is on the hot and the team has squandered a 2-0 lead against the Grizzlies and now are behind 3-2 with Game 6 in Memphis. The Grizzlies turned the series around by playing "big boy" ball with Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph dominating in the post. After last night's loss, Del Negro spoke of the need for C DeAndre Jordan to play better.
“I don’t know if crossroads is the right (word) but there’s definitely a level you have to play at right now that is much different,” Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro said. “He has a much different responsibility now. He understands it. I haven’t seen the consistency that I like. He hasn’t seen the consistency he would like….
“I didn’t see him controlling the game the way I thought he needed to, and at that stage you have to go with someone you feel can,” Del Negro said….
“Defensively, offensively, being a threat out there on the glass, using his length, athleticism,” Del Negro said. “But it’s up to him to get out there and earn his minutes and work through anything that’s thrown at him during the game.”

The Clipper's bigs just can't handle The Grizzlies' bigs. Griffin and Jordan aren't power players...they're just dunkers and outta control in the post. Althletic but not skilled. Griffin's jumper is better but he's just not aggressive enough on offense if it's not a dunk. Just watch how he passes outta one on one matchups. He should use his speed on both Gasol and Z Bo and get them in foul trouble...the only way they can win.

DeleteYeah so it's looking good for the Grizz. I wanna know what CP3 is thinking. Might pull a Howard.
