Thibodeau talks Derrick Rose

With the playoffs right around the corner, Bulls fans worldwide are wondering....when will Derrick Rose return. It's almost been a full year since Rose tore his left ACL and Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau thinks Rose is close to returning to the game he loves.
“Yeah, he’s close, but he’s not going to come back until he’s ready. He feels a lot better, but he’s still not there. You guys that have seen him play, his skillset is power, speed, stop, go, change of direction, so he has to make sure that he’s completely comfortable with that. He’s close, but he’s not quite there yet.’’
“Like right now, we’re not doing a lot of scrimmaging because of where we are so it’s hard to gauge. But when we did scrimmage I thought he looked very good. But the most important thing is him being comfortable, so we’ve got to let him work through it.’’

This story is getting old. We get it that he's mentally not ready bc he wants to comeback full speed like AD.
ReplyDeleteIm talking extremely old im so tired of hearing this shit. I mean wake me up when he is ready.
ReplyDeleteIts been the same shit since December. Rose is ruining his reputation by sitting out even though he's been medically cleared for over a month. Shits crazy.
ReplyDeleteHes what 24? His rep aint ruined hes looking out for himself... if u play ball and u are coming out of a major injury its extremely hard to go out there and tell ur body to do what u know it can... I had back surgery in nov. And even though I know I could do a lot of things on the court now with out pain, I still wont go in for a dunk if the lane aint open. Wont take hard layups I understand what hes going through and the only way he will be ready is when he gets backm to playing and he sees, I can still do this. No one can stop me no one can slow me down....
ReplyDeleteIf he wins a title none of this gets remember. I've been a Bulls fan my entire life and want him to return healthy. Whenever that date comes.. But like the entire world I'm tired of hearing about it.. Play or stay out of the headlines..
