Kenyon Martin talks Heat

Knicks F/C Kenyon Martin spoke to the media after the game and didn't quite understand why the Heat decided to rest LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Martin initally thought that the Heat had clinched the home court throughout the playoffs until he was told that they hadn't.
“It’s the NBA,’’ Martin said. “If they don’t want to play their guys, we’ll come out, if they’re playing or not, and come get this W — bottom line.’’

ReplyDeleteTrue. Hes bought a much needed edge to that team. They was free fallin, put him n the rotation and they win 8 straight. Once tyson is back n the flow woody need to stop bullshittin and go ahead and start k mart with him and melo cause the d is alot better. The offense always boils down to melo or bust anyway.
DeleteI can't believe it took so long for a team to pick him up. Definitely a steal. They have everything needed to be a legit championship contender. Idk why their defense just doesn't show up at times. Maybe he's the answer playing next to Chandler.

ReplyDeleteYea he was a great pick up. We lost our edge when sheed went out. Don't think kmart shud start unless they playing someone with a big front line. Knicks play well with melo at the 4. N now the ball movement is better jr taking it to the bucket n we playing d. All I want is sheed back n we'll b good
ReplyDeleteYeah sheed still a good backup center but the thing about k mart is he can guard both bigs and perimeter players. We saw that last year when he was guarding rudy gay n the playoffs, did a decent job on kd a couple of games back. He got a decent mid range jumpshot so yall can still spread the floor a little but knicks defense would b alot better n my opinion
DeleteNah I agree our d is better with Kmart on the floor but offensively it seems we always start to slow when we go big. At the same time haven't seen the big line up with kmart melo n chandler. We might see that line up when the play okc so it'll b interesting to see how it work out.
