Mavericks release Dominique Jones

Due to ineffective play and off the court issues, the Dallas Mavericks waived guard Dominique Jones.  Jones was drafted in 2010 and since January 1st has only played in 5 games.  

“From an organizational standpoint, it’s a move that gives us some flexibility to the end of the year and we can look at some different guys,” coach Rick Carlisle said. “That was the thinking. It was time to make this move.”
