Barkley talks Bynum.....again

NBA legend Charles Barkley has been very outspoken when it comes to the 76ers and Andrew Bynum. Yesterday Barkley again voiced his displeasure with the Sixers predicament.
"They are in a dilemma now," Barkley said. "I wouldn't give Andrew Bynum any money if I'm running the team. I'm not going to take that chance."
"I'm not going to give a guy that is already hurt money unless they can work out an incentive-laden contract," Barkley said. "I'm not giving $15-$20 million a year for a guy who hasn't played all year. You are eating up valuable salary cap if you give him a long-term deal."

I think bynum will be great in the end but he has to take less money until he proves that he can stay healthy.
ReplyDeleteI get the feeling that he's another STAT. Knee problems are career enders. Imagine the Blazers wo any knee problems led by Roy, Aldridge and Oden. And on top of Bynum's knee problems, he has a maturity problem.
DeleteStat? Bynum will b lucky to have a career as long as amare's. They say his knees r arthritic, never gonna get better only worst. I say he might b good for 40 to 50 games a year for a couple more years....maybe
DeleteWhat I mean is like STAT he's never playing a full season again. Every year there will a knee injury for both of these guys until they retire early.
DeleteYeah i think stat can walk away right now tho saying he did him. He might not b fully satisfied with his career and people r gonna kill him for wat he didnt do but he has been productive for about a decade now and has been a true star n the nba. I dont think bynum and oden will b as lucky
DeleteWait is bynum wanting more money wtf?
ReplyDeleteHe wants a long term contract. I heard the same thing preach did. N if that's true he's done. Especially after he came out n said he doesn't want to play in pain. He'll always b in pain n if he does play he'll need to have surgery frequently to clean debris n fluid out. Not a good look. Regardless of how the lakers look n if howard leaves. Getting rid of bynum when they did was the savier of their organization.
