Lakers big man Pau Gasol heard a "pop" in his foot last evening as his Lakers defeated the Brooklyn Nets. Gasol is scheduled to undergo an MRI today to learn the extent of the injury but anytime there's a pop heard, the results will most likely not be good. It appeared that the Lakers were turning a corner and coming together but if Gasol is out for an extended period of time, do you think the Lakers can still climb back into playoff contention?
Here we go.its up to kobe now.this might be the biggest test of his legacy.it is looking very bad,i never thought it could get any worse.i just hope them the best.

Kobe gonna do kobe. It depends on dwight bitch ass now. Can he find his offensive game and stay healthy and even if he does not sure it will b enough. Sucks for pau cause he was starting to show that aggressiveness thats been missing since the championship years.
ReplyDeleteD12 is doing what he did with the magic in my opinion. ... I think he is good to play but choosing not to.... do u think he will be a laker come next year... I don't think he is happy there and will probably not even sign. Paul is a huge deference maker is scoring and the way he sees the court for a 7 footer is amazing. Big blow for the lakers again someone else better step up
DeleteMaybe. If they dont make the playoffs he can say look it didnt work so im signing somewhere else.
DeleteI dont understand why yall niggas keep blaming dwight for everything that goes wrong hes doing what he can while playing through injury but i agree i see him leaving LA he dont wanna be there...the lakers are done if you think the lakers will beat the elite teams with kobe doing his best magic johnson/lebron james impression your kidding yourself and I dont count brooklyn as an elite team they are overrated
DeleteWho's blaming him and who said shit about brooklyn. Really the dudes personality and his weak nigga mind frame just annoys me and on the court hes gotta get his offensive game going cause honestly they looked better with pau starting. It pisses me off to hear people say he gotta get his touches when his offensive game is shit and u got pau standing on perimeter shooting jumpers to make this nigga happy? The offense shouldve been running thru pau the whole time but we all know thats coaching so Nah im not blaming him i just feel like the lakers would b better off trading him now cause i agree he aint staying. And if u was a laker fan and they telling u this gonna b the guy after kobe, would u b cool with that?
DeleteOh well being a Celtics fan this is great. Can't stand that hobo anyway because he cries too much
ReplyDeleteI've been a Lakers fan since day one but you had me rollin with the hobo thing cuz that's exactly what he look like. Dude look like he ain't bathed in months with that hair lmbo.
Delete- Big P
How do u like smitty (steve smith) one of the better hawks of all time (5 yrs with them) calling it a eagle on nba tv.... shit I thought it was pretty clear its a hawk...
ReplyDeleteWe still got it earl Clark will step in for him . foo is fo real.
ReplyDeleteLOL!! U funny as hell."Foo is fo real" LOL!! U guys are comedians.
DeleteNo Howard, no Gasol...no shots for anybody but Kobe and MWP clanking wide open 3s. Any chance they had is gone unless Howard can stay healthy and CONTROL THE PAINT!!
ReplyDeleteI still they will make the playoffs, just look at the 2 sorry teams (Portland and Houston)above them for the 8th seed.
ReplyDeleteThey need to win more games then Houston in the next month you think Houston is gonna lose all their games and Lakers gonna win all their games. I highly doubt it. This is gonna be the worse star studded team that DIDN'T make the playoffs. Hell even when the Lakers had old ass Malone and Mis size glove Peyton, they made the playoffs even to the Finals. Its a shame Looks like Kobe is gonna stay at 5 rings.
ReplyDeleteHouston is 3.5 games ahead of the Lakers and the season ends in mid April. That's plenty of time to make up 3.5 games. Houston lost 7 games in a row in mid January, so I don't have a lot of trust in them. I hate to say it, but the sorry Lakers are playing much better lately.
ReplyDeleteWow tffrank put lebron an kobe in the same sentence..and said kobe trying to impersenate lebron..didn't u say that kobe should pass more instead of shootin all the time now what's the deal..mad cause lakers lookin much better fool slit your throat
