Despite feeling that he's a max player, Hawks forward Josh Smith has been informed by the franchise that he will not receive a max contract from the organization. The next move is now for the Hawks to find a willing trade partner which they've sought for some time.

Howard already said he doesn't want to play in his hometown ATL. Probably doesn't want to deal with everyone he knows asking for tickets. But I'm glad the Hawks learned from Johnson not to sign star players with superstar money. J Smoove should be the best PF in the league with his defense and touch around the rim but he has LBJ's old mindset...I'm a great shooter...watch this 3. Can't see him changing.
ReplyDeleteThe hawks already offered hortford & korver ealier n the season and Lakers own d12's rights they can trade him where they want too Just like la wasnt his choice. And j smoove might not b a max player but he may b worth max money to the hawks. Guys like him r too valuable n the east with everybody playin small ball
