On if his fourth All-Star appearance is any different:

KD: “This is all so surreal to me. It’s my fourth one and it never gets old. It’s a blessing to be here amongst such great players… I’m really taking it in and having a good time.”

On who has the best fashion sense out of the All-Stars:

KD: Russell has the best fashion sense by far. I don’t think anybody steps outside the box like Russell.

On what he’s most excited about for the rest of the weekend:

KD: I’m looking forward to the Dunk Contest. All Star Saturday night is going to be fun.

On what actually happens during the All-Star practice:

KD: It’s more for the fans, we all know the game of basketball. Coach (Greg) Popovich, he knows we know basic sets in the NBA. We know this is more for the fans and letting them become closer to the All-Stars. This is all so great for us to interact with them as well.

On Western Conference All-Star Coach Greg Popovich:

KD: Outside of Scotty Brooks, he’s my favorite coach. How he carries himself, how humble he is… Two years ago in LA. He did such a great job with us.

On reflecting on winning the All-Star Game MVP last season:

KD: It’s amazing for me, but i think it was more so important to know I’m in company with so many great players. Once you go down the line from the 80′s all the way til now, you’ll see MVP and you’ll see my name there. That’s something I’m going to show my kids 20 years from now no matter what.

On the starting lineup introductions before the All-Star Game:

KD: I look forward to that every year. I think that’s the most exciting part of the All-Star game is being announced, especially as a starter. They do so many crazy things here with the NBA. They have so much creativity.
