Deron Williams talks homecourt advantage

Before their move to Brooklyn, the Nets had become a joke in the NBA and the fan support was non existent but this season the move revived the franchise and recently guard Deron Williams spoke of the fan support during home games.
“When all the big franchises came to town, it felt like they had more fans than us, and that hasn’t been the case,” Deron Williams said. “The closest was probably the Knicks, and I still thought it was more favorable for us....It definitely helps to win. If we would have been been a playoff team in Jersey, I remember seeing games where they were going to the Finals and they had great crowds out there....We just weren’t winning, and that they knew we were moving to Brooklyn ... I think all of those things compounded that.”

Deron sucks . Over rated.
ReplyDeleteHe definitely doesnt suck. He hasn't had the year everyone expected but he's still an elite PG.
DeletePfff "he hasnt had the year everyone expected". If you are an all star and paid like a superstar you have to produce. Do you see kobe or lebron take a year off? Didnt think so.
