Prince talks trade rumors

This time of year multiple NBA players names are floated in various trade rumors and it's no different for Tayshaun Prince. Prince has spent his entire career playing for the Detroit Piston and isn't bothered about the trade rumors that his name is attached too.
"Look at Corey Maggette, they probably feel like I feel and I haven't been traded," said Prince of his teammate, who's been traded five times since 1999. "They're like, 'I know what time it is, I know the situation', and I feel the same way because I've been through this in the last five years. It's a 'been there done that' thing...The reason why I'm always positive and upbeat is because around the same time all the time, people always ask me and expect the answer to change and it's not," Prince said. "The first time I was on the trading block it was my sixth or seventh year, and you asked me that, my answer might be different. I was a younger player, I would've been like 'trade me, you can't come tell me?' I didn't know the nature of the business about rumors."

He actually wants to stay with the pistons? Loyal guy. I think teams like the pistons, kings, and wiz, rapts r going to b very busy this trade deadline. Got alot of young talent and could use sum veteran leadership n exchange.
ReplyDeletePeople kill me with this loyal talk. Ain't no loyalty in business if he was not balling like they feel like he should he would be gone. Fuck um they sorry as hell ain't getting him any help if I was him I would want to leave. Trade me would be all the GM would hear.
ReplyDeleteNaw Naw, MHP, loyalty does go a long way. Im sure that if Prince stays and retires with the Pistons the team will take care of him. Hes already a legend in that city. Look at Reggie Miller. The flip side of that is that Hall of Famer Reggie ant got no rang. Price is on the downside of his career so if he wants a ring he needs to be exploring all possibilities. Go or stay the brotha has been good for his organisation and deserves my respect. Pimp Fo Toes.
ReplyDeleteYeah but at the end of the day it's business it doesn't all ways go that way look at Jordan he built chi-town with his bare hands & look what theygave him, half of the hard wood floor half of it. He couldn't even get the whole floor.
DeleteMhp is just not a loyal believer because lebron ain't either...left his hometown to join 2 other stars to barely get his first ring an believe he will leave heat..
ReplyDeleteHell yeah. U know he going b to cleveland to jump on kyrie dick
DeleteHe's obviously a ring chaser at this point man..wade is slowin down bosh ain't the same so he gonna leave and run away like he's done..an I heard a story about him going back to cleveland..
DeleteHes from akron not cleveland. Have u ever been to cleveland? Its a shithole u preach u would want out too.
DeleteDon't matter man he represented cleveland to those people an he left them..he may not be from there but he went to school there got recognized in school there an got drafted by cleveland there..that's just shady in terms..
DeleteMannnn 213 NBA, the fans of Cleveland don't want Bron back. Theyed chase him outta town so fast he'd thank he was Django. Don't get me wrong they would love to have a player of his caliber on their roster who could get them a ring but not Bron. They're afraid of him, he made them look like a fool.
ReplyDeleteLmao yea man you ain't lying..my fault I just feel bad for lebron sorry choking ass and his fans who really think lebron is staying in heat but then they would get on that bandwagon bullshit..
