James Harden in the end received what he wanted, 5 years and $80 from the Houston Rockets. If you were an owner of an NBA franchise, would you give Harden the same contract and despite his performance last night do you think that he is a franchise player?
Hell no. it was against Detroit. Theres no allstar caliber perimeter player on that team. I would want to see more if im rockets owner but I dont knock harden for gettin his money now

ReplyDeleteHe is not worth the money atleast not yet he is a under sized SG with average speed at best and below average defender. He has never played against a legitimate NBA double team because he played with 2 other Allstars who draw the double teams which left him wide open. They should have waited to atleast allstar break to evaluate his performance and then make a educated offer.
ReplyDeleteHarden made a smart move get paid now win later. He is only 22 or 23 and getting paid 80 million dollars to play ball for 5 years! Good for him. We can all agree to disagree weather he deserves it or not but that's not stoping that payday! And scoring 37 and 12 assists against any team is good because they are all professionals they all get paid to play the game that we all love and only wish we could get paid even a small percentage of that to do what they get to do. Play basketball for a living!

ReplyDeleteWell you never know up until this hes been thw third wheel and hasnt got theoppurtunity like he does in houston , yes the pistons d is not amazing , but no ordinary player can drop 37 and dishout 12 assist that easy . Time will only tell
