NBA Family joins Hurricane Sandy Relief effort

 The NBA and its players union, the NBPA, have jointly agreed to donate $1 million to the Red Cross and other organizations, including The Salvation Army, New York Cares and Jersey Cares, to aid those groups' efforts in helping people affected by Hurricane Sandy.
