Martin to return?

Reports indicate that Kenyon Martin may be close to an NBA return and the Miami Heat seem to be at the top of his destination list. There's no word at this time if the feeling is mutual from the Heat who despite being the defending NBA champions are one of the smallest teams in the league.
Lol, i just brought that up n the last article. Big men gettin off on the heat so far. K mart good defender, can switch the pick and rolls like the heat like to do but is he really that much better than undonis at this point? Not hatin, im just sayin ...

ReplyDeleteThe league is funny to me, last year they complained and even blocked a trade to the Lakers but the heat can pick up the entire league and its ok? I'm a Lakers fan but I could care less about who any other team gets I'm just saying its suspicious to me.

DeleteOnce again people answer without knowing what they are talking about I know why the league blocked it and how they blocked it, I know we have stars and all that, and so what if we are losing the playoffs ain't tomorrow, what I am pointing out is that the league has its favorites....kobe constantly out plays lechoke and especially for his age but all you hear is lechoke this lechoke that, nothing against him, and when kobe leaves he will be the best unless durant gets muscle but that time is not here yet. - Big P.

First of all the reason why the league was able to block that trade last year was because the league owns them and the contract for CP3. It wasn't in their best interest to make that trade and they did what any owner would do. Protect the value of the franchise. Why do Laker fans always think the world is against them?
DeleteI know all about why and how they blocked it but obviously you didn't see the actual trade. Look at what they would have gotten if the trade had gone through and what they ended up with afterwards....yeah best interest my butt.

Orleans didnt want old players thr lakers were offering they wanted to clear space and go young. The lakers trade did niether, so stern blocked it. And for the record, any team in the league can sign k mart right now, and no one really wanta him, not the same as cp3 where every team would want him. The heat had one good offseason and laker fans are pissed lol lakers have off seasons like that every couple of years. Id say any fan but a laker fan has the right to complain lol

So no it wasnt really fair or what the hornnets wanted. the only player under 33 is martin and hes bout to turn 30 and is a career bench player. DeleteI said the team then meaning before the team now the pre-davis team. And If it wasn't what the hornets wanted they wouldn't have accepted the offer it was blocked not turned down. It just so happens that the block worked out better for both the Lakers and hornets. So I'm not smoked after all lol fun debate though.

ReplyDeleteD'antoni is a scrub! He had his days in Phoenix when he was coaching dudes that were 25, now he's coaching dudes that are 35 his offense isn't meant for old men. His defense is non existent and yes I know they have guys who play D but without a coach who even mentions defense they won't play to their potential.
