Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge has done many things during his time in the NBA to help out the community. Primarily, those who benefited lived in the Dallas area where Aldridge is from but recently Aldridge decided to aid the Portland community as well by purchasing and personally delivering 100 turkeys to families in need.
"They needed to see that someone cares about them," Aldridge said. "It's a horrible feeling when you don't know where your next meal is coming from. You feel helpless. And I feel like I grew up in the same type of situation......where you really don't feel like people are on your side."

LaMarcus Aldridge is definitely the best player in the association that does not get any shine! His game is great, you never hear of him getting into any legal or dimwitted predicaments. He is definitely one of the few real role models that's left I'm todays sports. So hats off too you LaMarcus, continue the great work.
