72-10....may stand the test of time but Metta World Peace said earlier during the off season that the LA Lakers could break the outstanding record set by the Bulls in 1996.  Dwyane Wade, a Chicago Native, remembers how great that Bulls team was and recently spoke to the media about whether or not if 72-10 can be matched.

“Anything is possible....Would it be very hard? Yes, it would be very hard. The game today, with how many good teams are in this league, that’s almost or as close to impossible as you can get....What the Bulls did that year is special...Think about that — losing 10 games. They lost something like four at the All-Star break. That’s crazy....I don’t think we should have that goal around here...You can’t have that mentality...You just have to go play the game … and certain nights, teams are just going to get the best of you. Our job is just to be the best team we can be during the regular season and continue to get better.”
