Delete^^^true dat. But westbrook is that dude n my opinion. Yea k.d. is a beast just like Lebron with his God given talents but he aint got westbrooks mentality...that killer on the court, like a Kobe or Jordan.
DeleteNot taken anything away from k.d. but I can make the case that okc would b better off with westbrook as the number 1 option given his aggressiveness on offense and k.d.'s lack of aggressiveness at times. russ gets teams n foul trouble and him attacking the paint early will eventually open it for the shooters on the wing. I mean k.d. still gonna get his 30 because hes that good and okc dont have but 3 scorers on there team anyway.

ReplyDeleteThats right kd is clutch. When you need a bucket he will get you one. A good defensive team can shut westbrook down and if westbrook was a teams main guy then the other teams would focus on him more. Kd makes it easier for westbrook to score because the other teams are to worried about kd. fair enough you are a lbj fan but you know kd is already a boss an he's only 23 much better than lbj at that age in my opinion

That team would b shit without Russ and u seen that n k.d. rookie year, that team didnt become the force it is today until westbrook arrived. And u rite k.d. is the closer on that team thats why I said let Russ do his thing early. People always blaming him I say let him b him the first 3 quarters and maybe k.d. wont b so passive n the 4th. n my eyes on the biggest stage n the finals westbrook was the best player on the thunder. I dont care if Lebron was guarding him, I dont care if k.d. did avg 30...thats no deal k.d. can do that n his sleep so he dont get no credit for that n my opinion. Westbrook was the guy playing like he wanted it n my opinion, thats why I say he is the true killer on that team

But i stick by my 1st comment i would take kd over westbrook. I also stick by my other comment that kd was better than lbj at 23 yeah lbj took Cleveland to the finals at that age but in the weak east that at that time was weaker than it is now. Kd took thunder to the finals at the 23 but through at much tougher west conference going through LA and San Antonio

Its just my opinion kd is better at 23 and i think he will have more rings than lbj in the end he will come close to the scoring record to got a chance to top that list if he has a long healthy career
ReplyDeleteI'm the farthest thing from a LBJ fan but pretty sure he was better in his first trip to finals then kd is. Did you see how lebron single handededly broke down the best zone defense in the league at the time in the east finals? That was his best series performance of his life. KD is definitely much more of a rounded player then LBJ was, his D was pretty shaky back then but his offense made up for it. Either way their individual talents were pretty close at these points in their respective careers

Yeah your right that's a good point that series against Detroit was crazy lbj scored the teams last 24 points....at 23 years old the only thing durant has lebron beat in is his shooting ability
