Two more seasons for Dirk?

Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki has played in the NBA for 14 seasons and his current contract will end two seasons from now. Last evening on Twitter Dirk answered a fans questioned and it seemed to indicate that Dirk will finish out his contract with the Mavericks and then at that time re-evaluate his future.

I hate dirk didnt really get a chance to defend his title but he will go down as the best european to play n the nba I think.
ReplyDeleteAs it stands now, I am going to agree with that causes no other euro player has accomplished what he has, and anyone else is going to have a hard time trying to fill those shoes.

DeleteTony Parker had Tim duncan. Manu ginobili. And others. 3 all stars compared to basically one ..so no tony Parker is no where near dirk.

You are correct it is a whole continent and to add he could retire today or tmrw and only person would miss him is mark Cuban Dirk was soft for so many years... I'll take many, tony over dirk any day if the week
Deletemanu mayb a debate but parker? I know t.p. Had a career year last year but he aint been doing numbers like that his whole career. Dirk been puttin up good numbers since his second year n the league.

ReplyDeleteIdk dont forget pau gasol guys good pf as well hes a very good player overall yes he lacked last 2 seasons and dont forget he spank in the olympics and he almost beat usa by himself.. Manu is argentinian and yes tony parker is a good olayer but dirk does have that unstoppable fade away

ReplyDeleteHe might be a very good and well rounded player but he has no rings to show for it. And its his fault for resigning with the suns...they aren't going anywhere far in the near future.
