Billionare Chris Hansen has made a $400 million bid to acquire the Sacramento Kings from the Maloof family. Hansen's goal is to move the Kings to the city of Seattle who still owns the rights to the Sonics. Hansen recently purchased land south of the Safeco Field for $49 million that would be used for an NBA/NHL arena and also to accomodate parking for such events.

Bring back the Sonics. I hope this happens

Holy Fkin shit, I never thought Seattle would have a team again. Sucks for sacrament, they had loyal fans and a team in the rise. Oh well they only have three other in state teams to turn to.
ReplyDeleteSo there bringing back the same name too? That suck for them, they could of stayed with theat team but okc has it, they would of been in the finals again lol.... Anyway good for them...
