Now that the Olympics are over, Miami Heat President Pat Riley is relieved that LeBron James didn't get hurt. He shared his thoughts while speaking to the 640 sports in Miami.
"I think both Micky and I had a great sigh of relief that he got through the Olympics without getting hurt or anything happening and also winning the gold medal.....It just sort of completes a tremendous turnaround for him. He did it, and he did it by looking at himself in the eye, looking in the mirror, taking stock of what it was that he may not have done last year, on the court, off the court, and this year he had a perfect run....We're happy for him. We love him to death, obviously."

Denver San Antonio both la teams OKC the west now OS a very tough conference to be in. And Miami now outright owns the east. Atlanta and a few other teams wont lay down and will give them a run but the West is the tougher conference
Even the Celtics have been showing that age and injury won't put them down without a fight.

DeleteAnother celtics fan here, man would that be a series, LA and Boston once again,many people would think Boston would have no chance but I think tehy would match up really well; Rondo on Nash, Bradley is a very good defender(ask DWade haha) he can guard Kobe, Pierce can man-handle Artest(now World Peace) Gasol has the advantage on Bass but he won't give up and Garnett has proven time and time he can manage himself with Howard so it could be an intense series 7 games for sure.

DeleteKD and the Okc lost to Lebum and Miami sure but you have to consider Miami had a much more experienced roster and sure KD does not have a ring but 3 consecutive times beeing the scoring leader of the NBA at what age 24-25 don't rememver right know is something to admire and to bring a team that 4-5 seasons ago had the worst record of the nba to the NBA Finals, men you have to admire that guy. He can play every position on the floor he can rebound steal assist and score at will.....the difference between kd and lebron is that kd has to score in bunches to have an effect on the game...lebron can effect the game in every way possible and he makes the players around him better i mean he made jj hickson look good he made mike miller look like. a allstar and he put his team on his back and carried them to a championship. I take nothing away from jordan at this time he is still the goat but lbj is the most complete player the league has ever seen and 2 more rings from now he will be in the talks of being the goat. But kd is no comparison not until he improves defensively. Works on his post game and learn how to use his greatness. to make the players around him better ...lebron uses his greatness as a decoy to get other guys on the team involved and keep them in the game mentally.

Any given night hes the 2nd if not the biggest dude on the court. But he's not a fainess kinda player n hes not as skillful as the others. He's not going to be able to do what he's doing now he's whole career. That's y I think kd will b better when its all said n done. Right now bron is the best bball player in the game. Just off his athletic ability alone. But if he don't work on his game he wont be for very long. Kd has a long mid n he's work on his low post game. He lacks size but his skill set makes up for it.

The ones that keep cussing and saying dumb stuff like "Miami rules" and junk like that is just plain dumb. No one doubts that LeBron has skills. What is annoying is everyone calling him the greatest player. Honestly there is no such thing. He is half way through his career and just got his first ring. So already just solely on that, you can not classify him yet til his career is over and done to rank him among the legends. Kobe has done, in my opinion more in his career then than LeBron has by a long shot. Maybe LeBron does have he edge in athleticism the Kobe did at the same point in his career but live has more proven himself as a more valuable asset to his organization. The things hat he has done in games have created more "wow" or "omg" moments than LeBron. And Durant.... You are taking about a guy who is a 3 time consecutive scoring champ, and he can't even rent a car himself yet, but he he also doesn't even begin to compare to LeBron? That just shows a huge lack of respect and lack of knowledge of both the players and the game.

I agree more with yak n that lebron wont b able 2 do it as long at the level he playin at rite now. Simply because of his skill set and the grind season after season will catch up 2 him 2 like they do ALL great players.
