Today's Gold Medal Game against Argentina will be the last game Kobe Bryant plays as a member of Team USA. Before yesterday's practice, Bryant shared his thoughts with the media on the end.
"Well, I just want to go out the right way.....You know, go out the right way by winning a gold medal.....I get a chance to kind of just rest a little bit and let them do all the running and jumping and stuff, and show glimpses every now and then of what I can do,"

*not more rings than Kobe, more than he currently has* how many rings u have depends on total team play, not a 100% individual effort. It how many rings u have determines ur greatness Jordan wouldn't be the best ever. He would be 10th or 11th, Robert horry has 7 n Russell has 11. Championships play a factor to where u rank, but overall greatness consistent over a long period time determines your place.

Now LBJ has been in the league for 9 years now and Kobe 16 by the time Kobe was in the league for 9 years he had 3 rings 5 final appearances MVP awards dunk contest winner and multiple straight all star appearances and MVP awards. DeleteNa homie, I'm just sayin at this pace, along with his scoring, he has an all around game and will pass Kobe up in every category. Pts rbds, asst, stls, blocks, MVPs. And will get close enough in rings to surpass Kobe as number 2. Kobe had a legit chance to pass MJ, I don't think he has done it. And Lebron( at his current pace) will have the opportunity to challenge MJ for the throne. But we will have to wait and see If he does or not. They are all great and when its all said and done, its going to be hard to place them 1,2, and 3. But statisticly speaking, on averages alone, it would go MJ, Lebron, Kobe. Career avg is a big deal. Alotta stars have their moments but consistency over a long period of time, w/out significant injury or drops in numbers is hard to do. However u look at it, top 3 all time is a major accomplishment.

With 3 MVPs, and 1 title, shooting FG.48% 3pt.33%. Kobe averages 25 pts 5 rbds, 4 asst. 1 MVP, 6 titles shooting FG.45% 3pt.33% (same as Lebron) and both LBJ, and MJ have shot over .500 in multiple seasons, Kobe never has. All 3 are great but with a couple more titles and at his current pace, Lebron beats out Kobe. Sorry for pulling out stats, I didn't look them up, I already had them from an article I did last week. I'm a fan of all three, no biasness, that's just the truth. Lebron in 9 years is on an incredible pace.

He joined the Heat and stars like Wade and bosh and didn't win that year either.
