Jodie Meeks speaks on joining Lakers

Yesterday guard Jodie Meeks made his move to the Lakers official when he signed a two year deal worth $3 million. Afterwards, he had a phone interview with the Los Angeles Times and stated the following:
"I felt like this was the best situation.....To have a chance to play for a team like this will make me better. I’m playing with so many good people....I'm looking forward to playing together with someone (Kobe) who will be in the Hall of Fame one day and go down as one of the best who ever played," said Meeks, "I'll take pride in hoping to help him out with his minutes. Last year, he played a lot of minutes. So if I can go in there and take some minutes off of him, it will help the team out."

ReplyDeleteLol Jodie Meeks can only shoot 3s. He can't do anything else. Horrible pick up for what they paused. I watched every sixers game and Jodie can't create his own shot, can't play defense. He would just stand near 3pt line and wait for the ball. Hard worker and team player but not great pick up.
